I was watching the debates last night.....yea I know, I know.....and it was quite obvious to me what was happening. First off...they included Gary Johnson again....proving that they are less biased than CNN and MSNBC who have excluded him....nevermind that they asked him the least amount of questions...gave him the least amount of time....and the former New Mexico governor didnt complain as he did in the first debate.....but he was desperate..and was the only candidate to PROMISE to do certain things......ok enough of me being fair and balanced....no more talk about Gary Johnson.
Here are the number of questions and major time given to each candidate.
Santorum 7 questions
Romney 7 questions
Perry 9 questions
Paul 5 questions
Johnson 4 questions
Gingrich 6 questions
Bachmann 7 questions
Cain 6 questions
Huntsman 6 quest
So...yes fox was more balanced in the questions...although Perry's time doubled that of Johnson and nearly doubled that of Ron Paul who again was ignored. Personally I think they brought back Johnson to take from steam from Paul....Right off the bat they tried to put the two against each other....asking Johnson how he would be better than Ron Paul.
Of course the first questions asked each round..at least the first two were to Perry...and the arguments between him and Romney were obviously meant to keep the attention on them for the public to see them as the only two candidates.
Paul and Johnson questions were last in the rounds....basic psychology on this one...
The only time in debating when they would pan out to include two candidates...was Perry and Romney......until the end when they asked them the hypothetical question of who they would pick up there for vp and huntsman picked cain...and shook his hand.....yuck.
I thought Huntsman using his daughter and her diabetes for political gain.....well I thought it was pathetic.
Perry scared the hell out of me...in explaining his executive order forcing all 12 yr old girls to get the HPV vaccine....."I will always error on the side of life"
yea people...we do not need someone in office who believes in forcing people against their will into something for their own good...because he thinks it would be good for you.
Oh and Reagan was brought up multiple times.......funny thing...if you were to actually compare Reagan to each candidate..he would sound most like Ron Paul....yet even though Republicans idolize Ronald Reagan...in the same breathe they denounce him...it doesnt make sense.
So again in conclusion it was a lovefest for Perry and Romney...with Santorum getting a suprising amount of airtime......more bias of the media. More of us being told that thinking for ourselves and individualism is crazy...as evidenced by foxnews giving less time Johnson and Paul. Are people going to wake up....and see how the media tells us what to think???? Are they going to start seeing the subtle signs of propaganda and PR????
We will soon see next year.....but as of right now...as long as we actually watch foxnews, msnbc, CNN....I dont think we will see it....and with that...we are doomed to serfdom
