Sometimes real life and dreams are one in the same. One of the great movies from the 80's, Nightmare on Elm Street was an incredible movie that spawned numerous sequels and even a remake. It is the story of a child killer who was killed by neighborhood vigilantes who then comes back after their children in their dreams. The dreams become reality....if you die in the dream, you die in real life.
As most Americans I was politically asleep for a long time. Politics and what went on in the world of it didn't really bother me or worry me at all. As long as I was getting mine I did not care. I had a job, a home, kids, dogs, oh yeah and a house in the burbs. Auto pilot was set. Then the dream started to turn a bit darker.......9/11, war and recessions started popping up.....this bubble gum drama was turning into a thriller..........then it made that turn from thriller to horror as President Obama was sworn into office.
Now Freddy Krueger was able to take any shape he wanted in the dreams, little did I know that this man who claimed to be Barack Hussein Obama was really Freddy Krueger. He gave the illusion that all was going to be well...that life was going to be serene and wonderful...like back in the 90's. He appealed to us all, the hope, the change, and then Barack Obama, uh oh I mean Freddy spung it on us.
Continuation of the Patriot Act and the TSA, NDAA, the assassination of American citizens INCLUDING CHILDREN, and of course Obamacare which forces every American to purchase a good from a third party. Of course they are calling it taxation, so in essense we pay taxes to corporations now, and the SCOTUS deems that Constitutional. Of course their was also the bailouts of the super rich, which of course we know the 1% are more important than the rest of us.
Barack Obama oops did it again, Freddy Krueger is killing the dreams of people who want freedom and responsibility in their life. The knives he has on his fingers are now in the shape of pens that he is using to enslave us all. As each day goes by as a nation we are closer to failure as our debt continues to grow. As of this moment the debt to each taxpayer is only $138,939. Can we continue to spend more and more of our childrens money and well being away?
In the end Freddy was defeated by waking up from the dream and pulling him from that dream and into reality. That is what needs to be done here. We the American people need to wake up from this dream and realize that we cannot continue to get something for nothing. That the government role is not to protect us from ourselves, but to protect our rights. We know what is best for us, not Freddy Krueger or Barack Hussein Obama. Once brought into the real world, Obama/Krueger will be defeated as fantasy has no place in reality.
The reality is we do not need Freddy Krueger for President.
