Ever hear of the "honor system?"  That is where a good is placed out unmonitored and people can take that good and pay what they feel is necessary or pay what is being asked of that good.  There is someone near me who does that with eggs.  He has a refrigerator out front filled with eggs that he is selling for $3/dozen.  People can take the eggs and run...or they can be honorable and pay what he is asking.

Now the reason I bring up the thought of ending all taxation is due to a discussion on another article on taxation.  Taxation is a form of slavery.  It is something that has been abused throughout the ages by the rich over the poor.  It has been used as a form of control over the masses as well.   All in the name of the "greater good" of course.  We need taxation to pay for the "protection" offered us by government.

Of course a military is needed by the people for protection.   Maybe it should be funded by donations?  Think about this.  The people would talk with their pocketbooks.  If they thought we were being warmongers, the funds would dry up.  If it was a needed war they would give freely.  If there are those of you who think no one would give money to support our country I would say you have ignored history.  Americans have always stepped up to aid those in need be it countries or individuals.

Being forced to work to give money to corporations or individuals is a violation of individual rights.   Why should we continue to embrace the archaic form of funding a country through taxation?   Forced servitude?  Lets truly be the land of the free!  Freedom from oppression of any kind?!  Government would directly answer to the people. 

I think it is time we evolve and progress.

Time to stop being conservative.
