I was thumbing through videos and articles this morning. Not really focusing on one issue, just whatever caught my eye when I came across this video.
Former Michigan governor fires up crowd with talk of the auto bailout. For more: http://abcnews.go.com/politics
In the video of empty rhetoric the people in this crowd were going nuts!! She was talking about how money was stolen from them by Bush and Obama and given to the rich.......AND THEY WERE HAPPY ABOUT IT!!!!!!!!
It is so sad that Americans give into fear mongering. It is sad that they fall for such scams. It is sad that they think that the rich should be able to do whatever it is they want, and then believe that they should be rewarded for such behavior by taking from the middle class to give them even MORE!! It is sad that they think that they should fail if they make the wrong decisions but that the rich should not. It is sad that they believe the lies the rich tell them about them losing "jobs."
Should we have bailed out the whaling industry when it started going under when other oils were introduced? Should we have saved the icebox mans jobs when refrigeration was introduced? If GM failed, maybe a more viable company would of replaced it? This isnt the first time an auto company needed "bailouts" for poor behavior. When are we as Americans going to start thinking that the rich should fail like we do if they make bad mistakes?
This shows the complete failure of the mentality behind the democrats. They give into fear...and if they might "lose" jobs they will gladly give up their rights and take money from others to "save" those jobs. They believe in the collective over the individual. Therefore they believe that the individual should be sacrificed for the "greater good."
It is a failed mentality, and that woman up there speaking was about the dumbest person I have ever seen save for those applauding her in the stands.
sad day in America.
