Do you want accountability in politics?  I sure do.   Want to know how we can achieve this?  Have a government that spends less than it brings in.  We have long accepted a government that lives beyond its means.  We have republicans on one side wanting to supplement the military industrial complex, farmers and other special interest groups, and the democrats wanting to supplement the poor, farmers and other special interest groups.  To do so costs money.  They take from the middle class to give to these corporations all for the "greater good."

What if we had a system that when the government passed a bill that gave certain corporations money...that it would come DIRECTLY out of our checks?  I know with current technology this could be done.  A direct taxation on the people.  People would learn very quickly the extent of corruption and would demand accountability in our politics.  Endless wars would soon be gone.  Propping up failing industries or corporations would be gone.

Maybe with direct taxation people would pay more attention to politics and how their money is being spent.  Maybe with direct taxation citizens would be more accountable with their accounts as well?

Passing off our bills on the future generations is suicide.  Accountability has to happen and soon.
